Rancho Cucamonga Superior Court is a city courthouse situated in San Bernardino and Riverside County California. It is serving the communities of Bloomington, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Rialto, Montclair, Chino, Chino Hills, Ontario, Mt. Baldy, Lytle Creek etc. It has jurisdiction over criminal, small claims, civil, family, probate, traffic, and vehicle matters. They also provide online services like online payment, online case search, remote access, court calendar, e-filing etc. so it is not necessary to go to the court for these types of services. Self-help services are provided by every division by appointment only. Proper dressing is required during the court session. Parking facilities are available, one on the east side of the courthouse and one on the southeast side of the courthouse.

After entering data, the case information will be displayed. The portal will only show those records information that is publicly available. The sealed records are not available for the viewing of the public. Some records are unavailable; if the information does not come, the case records will be removed or confidential and cannot be displayed online. The fee for each document per page is $0.50, which is mandatory when you come to the court for a records copy.

In-Person

A person can pay for tickets and fines by visiting the court during regular court hours and paying in cash, checks, or with a card at the counter service available in the court. Take your ticket and citation number with you when you come for payment. 2% surcharges will be applied if you make payment with a credit card. 

Online 

Online payments can be made using the court portal https://cap.sb-court.org/.Retrieve your ticket information by finding your ticket using a case, citation or traffic ticket number. Your case information with the amount of the fine will be displayed. Select the online ticket payment option and pay the amount online. You will receive a confirmation message after your transaction is completed. All fines are not paid online, some cases require a personal appearance and you have to pay at the court. Service charges will be applied in this case.

Mail

A Person can send a certified check or money order to the court’s mailing address; Superior Court of California, County of Bernardino, Attn: Financial Services, BOX 15005, San Bernardino, CA 92415-5005. Cash or personal checks are not acceptable in the mail; only certified checks or money orders are accepted. Remember to write your citation, name, case number, and account number when you send the payment, and mail the amount in a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want a receipt.

Drop Box

How to file a small claim case?

Rancho Cucamonga Superior Court’s small claim division handles all cases in which a claim is up to $10000 for individuals and $5000 for companies. You can file a small claim case by filling out the form and submitting it at the clerk’s office. Fill in your and the defendant’s personal information, and tell the reason for claiming with the number of claims. The notice of appeal sent to the defendant fees is $75. The fees for the case depend upon the amount of money you are suing for. After the form and documents are submitted then the court will send a trial date notice to the defendant. Before the trial date, the defendant or plaintiff can try the mediation facility and try to resolve the matters without appearing in court on the trial date. If the plaintiff fails to appear in court, then the case will be dismissed.
