Cliffside Park Municipal Court is the courthouse in Bergen County, New Jersey. It is situated in the municipal complex. It has jurisdiction over criminal, city ordinance violation, and DWI, traffic and vehicle matters. Regular court sessions were held every Thursday at 5:00 pm via zoom or in the court, while special DWI sessions were held every Tuesday. The court handles approximately 65 complaints of disorderly persons and over 200 traffic citations and DWI charges each month. Searching with file names is also available on the website.

Plea of Guilty

Plea of Not Guilty

A person can pay for tickets and fines by visiting the court during regular court hours and paying in cash, checks, or with a card at the counter. Convenience and other charges will be applied if you make payment with a credit card. Payment plans are also available by this court.


A person can pay online using the New Jersey online payment link: Enter the ticket or citation number and pay the fine. Service fees will be applied in this method.

Cliffside Park Municipal Court’s marriage license is obtained from the clerk’s office and given by the health department of the municipal complex. The fee for a marriage license is $28. The couple’s age must be 18+. If someone is under 18, written consent from parents, guardians, and the judge is mandatory.
