Clarkston Justice Court was established in 1786 in New York. It has four town justices serving four four-year terms and one chief court clerk. This court is considered one of the most significant courts for criminal cases. This court serves the community of Bardonia, Central Nyack, Congers, Nanuet, New City, Rockland Lake, Valley Cottage, West Nyack, the Village of Upper Nyack in its entirety, and parts of the Village of Nyack and the Village of Valley.
